What is Zyflamend? Does it work against cancer?

Zyflamend is an herbal supplement consisting of Holy basil, turmeric, ginger, green tea, and other plants. Zyflamend has not been shown to treat cancer. Studies in humans are very limited. In test-tube studies, Zyflamend stops the cancer cells from multiplying oral squamous carcinoma, pancreatic cancer, and melanoma, as well as cisplatin-resistant bladder cancer cells. In melanoma cells, Zyflamend induced apoptosis which is a type of cell death that is one method the body uses to get rid of abnormal cells.
