Boswellia is a type of tree known for its fragrance. A Boswellia extract induced apoptosis in a cervical cancer cell line by inducing endoplasmic reticulum (ER) stress. ER is a network of tubes like plumbing in our cell where the body makes some proteins and lipids. A Boswellia based cream was found useful in preventing skin damage due to radiation treatment in breast cancer. Boswellia also helped reduce mammary density which a risk factor for breast. In addition, Boswellia combined with propolis decreased cancer. Remember you can make a change one day or today. You decide.
